LEADERSHIP AND HONOR SOCIETIES

Mu Alpha Theta is a National Mathematics Honor Society dedicated to inspiring keen interest in, developing strong scholarship in, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics. Mu Alpha Theta recognizes students who enjoy and excel in mathematics and encourages students to participate in math-related events. Membership into Mu Alpha Theta is by invitation only to those who are in Algebra II or higher level math courses and maintaining an excellent GPA in mathematics.

Student Ambassadors are essential members of the admissions team.  Student ambassadors represent the school to prospective students and their families. They assist with campus tours, answer questions about academics and student life, and partner with visiting students for shadow days. Student Ambassadors love STA and they aren't afraid to share their Yellow Jacket pride.

The SACHS STUCO collaborates with school administration to build community and foster school spirit through planning, coordinating, and sponsoring activities for the student body. STUCO also encourages support and appreciation for the faculty and staff. STUCO is comprised of members from each grade level to ensure full representation of the student body.  STUCO positions are elected positions; elections are held annually.

Students assist in preparing the altar for school liturgies and serving Mass throughout the year.

Music ministry is an integral part of Yellow Jacket prayer life. As musicians in the service of the Church, our Music Ministers seek to inspire students to pray through praise and worship.  Music ministers lead the weekly SongFest, participate in weekly liturgies and other community events to enhance the Catholic identity of St. Anthony Catholic High School

The purpose of this club is to organize various pro-life activities--prayer, petition circulation, and writing letters to government officials. This club strives to reinforce the culture of right to life through prayer and peaceful witness.

The main objective of Young Oblates is preserve the charism of the founders of St. Anthony Catholic High School, the Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI), through charitable service to those most in need. Young Oblates seeks to form students in the Oblate values of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the most abandoned. While all SACHS students are called to serve their community, the Young Oblates focus their service on feeding the hungry, caring for the homeless and abandoned.
INTEREST & ACTIVITY CLUBS

Art Club provides an opportunity to explore and experiment with a wide variety of materials and skills including drawing, painting, and sculpture. Anyone who has an interest in art can join, regardless of experience.

The Yellow Jacket band is currently seeking new members.  Whether you are an experienced musician or have an interest in learning music, join the band to develop and refine your musical skills

The Cyber Patriots Club trains and competes in information technology, cybersecurity, and professional skills competitions with the Air Force Association's CyberPatriot. Competitions include tasks such as finding and fixing security vulnerabilities while maintaining critical services and the installation and configuration of operating systems and technical computer applications. Cyber Patriots is great for anyone interested in coding; no experience is necessary.

Drumline is open to those interested in percussion instruments. The SACHS drumline performs at Pep Rallies and other school events.

This club provides a safe venue so that students may interact and compete in popular, school-appropriate video games. Gaming club is a great way to meet fellow gaming enthusiasts!

The Japanese Club explores the rich culture of Japan through exposure to food, traditions, holidays and language.

St. Anthony students participate as members of the STA/AHHS JROTC program at Alamo Heights High School.  Through the JROTC program cadets learn leadership skills, integrity, commitment and are challenges physically.  Cadets have the opportunity to participate in various JROTC teams, including marksmanship, colorguard, and physical training.  Teams compete at the local, state and national levels. The St. Anthony Mariachis group enriches the lives of its members and the school community through the study and performance of traditional Mariachi music. Anyone with an interest in learning music and pasMsing on the rich culture of Mariachi music is invited to join.  The performance group performs in events all around San Antonio.

The Robotics club offers students an opportunity to build and program robots using VEX robotics pieces and RobotC programming software. An annual competition allow students to test their robots and compete against other clubs from around the region. If you like building, inventing, or want to learn to program, this is the club for you!
