Counseling and Wellness
Our Services
The SACHS Guidance and Counseling Department strives for excellence in preparing students for success while in high school and after they graduate. Our counselors provide assistance with academic and post-secondary planning as well as social/emotional wellness through individual counseling, group sessions, and guidance curriculum.
- Freshman Focus: Transition to High School, PSAT & Career Exploration
- Junior Focus: College Exploration, SAT/ACT, Scholarships & College Applications
- Senior Focus: Applying to College, SAT/ACT, Scholarships & Transition to College
Appointments
Counselors are available to meet between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Our counselors have an 'Open Door' policy for students throughout the school day. Appointments can be set up on an individual basis with the student and/or the parents. In the case of a student emergency or crisis, an appointment is not necessary. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with their counselor regularly to discuss any concerns or questions they may have.
