Weekly Community Update Dec. 12 - Dec. 17
Information for the week
Dear Parents and Students,
Thank you for your patience and support as we ended our voluntary membership with the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) and joined the Texas Christian Athletic League (T-CAL). The support from the St. Anthony community as well as the state and national levels has been tremendous. We are confident that this is a positive move that will provide our students the opportunities to succeed. I would like to invite all of our parents and students to an informational meeting to share the opportunities that our move to T-CAL has brought us. We will meet this Wednesday at 6pm in the Chapel.
This week our students will be taking their final exams. You can help them by encouraging them to get a good night's rest and eating breakfast. Being on time to school will help relieve the anxiety that exam days bring. You can also help by making arrangements for pick up after school. The day ends at noon and outside of some amended practice schedules it is best if all of our students get home early so they can review for the next day's exams and rest.
Over the Christmas holiday I encourage everyone to spend some quality time together as a family. Use this opportunity to reconnect and enjoy the company of family and friends.
From the St. Anthony Catholic High School faculty, staff and administration I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. School resumes on January 3, 2017!
