Yellow Jacket Athletics


St. Anthony Catholic High School takes pride in offering our young men and our young women the opportunity to represent our school through competition in Yellow Jacket Athletics both as an individual and as a team. With the help of an educated and experienced coaching staff, our Athletic Program promotes competition with honor through Catholic faith, academics, sportsmanship, integrity, commitment and teamwork. St. Anthony offers 11 Male sports and 12 Female sports, and anyone from freshman through Senior are eligible to participate. Our Yellow Jacket Athletic Program competes in TAPPS District 2-5A which is the largest classification of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools.

Senior Stormie Wilkins signs National Letter of Intent

Senior Stormie Wilkins signed her National Letter of Intent to play volleyball Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota on Friday, May 8th.  Stormie was a 3-year Varsity letter winner and has earned All-District honors her Sophomore and Senior years.  Congratulations and we are proud of you Stormie.

Senior Henry Sanchez signs National Letter of Intent

St. Anthony Senior Henry Sanchez signed his National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacodogches, Texas early this year.  Henry also was a 4-year Varsity letterman for the football team and has earned All-District honors with football and baseball.  We are very proud of you Henry.

Senior Kierre Vaughns signs National Letter of Intent

On Friday, February 13th, Senior Kierre Vaughns signed his letter of intent to play football at Concordia University in Nebraska.  Kierre was named to the San Antonio Sports All-Star Game for the East Team (2014 season).  He is projected to be an Offensive Tackle for the Bulldogs.  Way to go Kierre - we are proud of you. STING 'EM JACKETS!

Senior Chris Gutierrez signs National Letter of Intent


On Wednesday, February 4th, Senior Chris Gutierrez signed his letter of intent to play football at Concordia University in Nebraska.  Chris is a 2-time All-District, All-State H.M, and 2-time Academic All-State student-athlete.  Way to go Chris!  Your St. Anthony Catholic High School family is very proud of you and all of your hard work.  STING 'EM JACKETS!
