Unfailing Prayer to
Saint Anthony
Blessed be God in His Angels and in His Saints.
O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God
and Charity for His creatures made you worthy, when on
earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on
your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in
trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore
of you to obtain for me (request). The answer to my prayer
may require a miracle. Even so, you are the saint of
Miracles.
O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full
of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the
Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms, and
the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours.
Amen.

Prayer Request
- Dr. Domingo Arce ('67) suffered a massive heart attack at his home in San Antonio and passed away. Domingo and Gloria have 2 young children, Marcus, a 4th grader at little St. Anthony's and Ann Marie, a 1st grader at St. Anthony's.
- Mr. James Johnson class of 1929 passed away on January 8, 2006. Mr. Johnson was a great supporter of St. Anthony and loved to come on campus to support all athletic activities, he will be missed. Please keep his family in your prayers.
- Anthony Medrano's (Class of 1990) father was diagnosed with cancer about 5 years ago and until late 2004 had been doing o.k., however, since then his condition has steadily worsened and at this point the cancer is inoperable. Please keep him and his family in our prayers.
- Michael Twist, a 2005 graduate of St. Anthony was killed in a tragic automobile accident.
- Hello, my name is Emanuel Gloria. I graduated from St. A's in 1991. I, too, would like to ask for a prayer request. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma back in april of this year. I am at the last stage of this cancer and have recently started chemotherapy. It turns out that so far i am responding well to the treatment, but I still have a ways to go. I keep getting compliments on my positive attitude and strength through this ordeal--it all stems from my faith. However, I know that prayers from others help as well. So if anyone would like to throw in an "Our Father," or "Hail Mary," or a "Keep the guy in good health" prayer, i would sincerely appreciate it.
Thanks, E. Gloria; aka Meme
- We mourn the loss of 15 year old St. Anthony Catholic High School student Julian Bocanegra.
