School Nurse

A word from the nurse

The school nurse administers first aid for injuries and illnesses only. She does not diagnose illnesses but takes note of symptoms and notifies the parent/guardian of her observations. We ask that students be kept at home when ill and have a normal temperature for 24 hours after any illness (without the use of fever reducing medications) before returning to school. This is important for the health of your child and for the health and wellbeing of all students and staff at St Anthony Catholic High School.

Due to the Covid19 pandemic, we ask that if your child is presenting with any of the following symptoms, even if not Covid19 related, that he/she stay home for virtual learning until symptoms subside.
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Chills or repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore Throat
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Diarrhea
  • Contact with person that is lab confirmed with Covid-19
