Now that the Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) program is active, our focus is ensuring your family can seamlessly apply these resources to your student’s journey at St. Anthony Catholic High School. We view these funds as a partnership in your child's future, allowing us to maintain the high standards of our Health Professions pathway, dual credit opportunities with UIW, and our championship-caliber athletic and arts programs.
This page is designed to be your primary resource for navigating the financial logistics of the program, from authorizing payments to understanding how your account balances with your tuition and fees.
Opting in to the TEFA program and enrolling at St. Anthony Catholic High School
- Opt in to the TEFA program. If you received an email from Odyssey informing you that your child is eligible for the TEFA program, you must confirm participation. How to Opt-In to the TEFA Program – Odyssey
- Select School from your parent dashboard in Odyssey. Selecting a school does not mean your child is enrolled in that school. Contact your selected school to start the application process!
- Complete the school application. Apply Now | St. Anthony Catholic High School
- Contact the Enrollment Director to set up a time to visit. Contact Jessica Garza, Director of Enrollment, 210-832-5605, [email protected].
- Submit accommodations documents, if applicable. Does your child receive academic accommodations? Be sure to share the IEP or other pertinent documents with the Admissions Director upon submission of your child’s application.
- Schedule an interview. Once your application is complete, the Enrollment Director will contact you to schedule an interview. This valuable time will allow for us to get to know you the student and the family better.
- Receive acceptance letter. If accepted, you will receive a notification to enroll along with your child’s acceptance letter.
- Enroll at St. Anthony Catholic High School! Use the link provided to you by the Director of Enrollment to submit your child's enrollment.
- Decide how you want to use your TEFA funds at St. Anthony Catholic High School. You will receive an invitation to meet with the Business Office to choose how you want to allocate your funds- tuition, uniforms, meals, etc.
IMPORTANT- The school cannot verify enrollment through Odyssey until the enrollment packet is submitted! First deadline to verify enrollment in order to receive funds by July 1 is June 15!

Quick Tips for Success
- Know your deadlines!
- June 1- First priority deadline to select a school in Odyssey. The school must verify enrollment by June 15 for the first July 1 distribution of funds.
- July 15- Final deadline for parents to select a school or setting. If you have not selected a school by this date, you will lose funding and be removed from the program. The school must verify enrollment by July 31 for mid-August distribution of funds.
- Stay Notified: Ensure your Odyssey portal notifications are turned on so you never miss a disbursement or authorization deadline.
