Assistant Athletic Director
Aamir McCleary graduated From Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville ( Edwardsville, IL) with a degree in Sociology, and also obtained Associate’s Degree from Panola College, In Carthage Texas. Following his playing career Aamir went on and began his coaching and skill development career in 2013. Working with various camps as a skills coach such as the Tony Parker Skills clinics, Danny Green Clinics, and Kyle Anderson Clinics. In 2014 he joined SA Hoops Elite a local ( AAU) program as A skills, and basketball coach. With SA HOOPS ELITE , Aamir has gained National Recognition for his coaching , winning a few National Events in Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Dallas. Aamir has also been a part of developing and trainings with multiple NBA athletes, college and high school players. Aamir is the younger brother of two- time NBA Champion and former Spur Malik Rose. In 2018 he joined NEISD and is pursuing his teaching certification in Special Education.
Coach Charles Hall is a St. Anthony alum of 2012 and a University of Incarnate Word alum of 2016. He is the head Cross Country coach at St. Anthony and assists with the track program. Coach Hall teaches Biology at St. Anthony CHS. Six of his Yellow Jacket athletes went on to compete at the collegiate level.
Mike Salas is in his first year as a Psychology/Sociology and World Geography Teacher. This is his 2nd year as the Head Baseball Coach and is now an Assist Football Coach here at St. Anthony’s Catholic High School. This is his 19th year as a coach with the Catholic High Schools in San Antonio. He comes to SACHS from Northside ISD where he taught Special Education and Holy Cross High School where he spent the past 10 years coaching and continuing to build a successful program by coaching multiple sports. He received his BBA in Sociology from West Texas A&M University and is in route to receive his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from WTAMU this summer as well. Coach Salas has been married to his wife Vanessa for 16 years and they have 3 children (Michael Jr, Emily and Evan).
