Here are your latest updates from the counselor's desk!
HAPPY FRIDAY YELLOW JACKETS!!
I pray that you all have had a wonderful week.
This past Wednesday we celebrated Wellness Wednesday during chapel, where we took some time to check in with ourselves, understand how we were feeling, examining what we need for self-care, remembering how to handline challenging situations that are outside of our control, and closed our reflection time with The Serenity Prayer.
Here it is for you to continue at home:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him forever in the next. Amen.
May the blessing of the Lord be upon you and your loved ones all of your days.
-Angelica M. Montalvo, M.A., LPC Associate
